Product Development business drives growth in the quarter

Quintiles 4Q Revenues: $1.4 billion (+2%) 4Q Earnings: $88.4 million (+21%) FY Revenues: $5.5 billion (+7%) FY Earnings: $356.5 million (+58%) Comments: Service revenues were $1.1 billion in the quarter, up 6% with growth in the Product Development segment and Integrated Healthcare Services segment. Net new business growth in the quarter was up 22% to $1.6 billion representing a book-to-bill ratio of 1.49. Product Development new business increased 28% in the quarter to $1.2 billion. Integrated Healthcare Services new business increased 6% to $354 million.
